    Veterinarian

After spending fifteen years in college, I finally left The Ohio State University in 2001 with two degrees in Zoology where I worked in a bat laboratory and another in Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work, my life is devoted to my four German Shepherds--Galahad, Gabriel, Gideon, and Gryphon. I am also the proud owner of five cats -- Jax, Jinx, Jeepers, Jellybean and Jingles and two birds -- Bahama and Kahlua. My spare time is filled with swimming, running, reading, writing, and movie/dinner dates. And last but not least, my husband who stands by me in everything, my best friend and constant companion.

    Hospital Manager

After working for car dealerships and operating my own security/private investigations business for many years, I decided to do something I really enjoy which is working with animals.  About fifteen years ago, I was hired for a position at my vet’s office and I've been working for animal hospitals ever since.   I am originally from NJ but moved to Florida in 1999 and love it here.  I am also a full time student at Palm Beach State College, recently completed my Associates Degree and am now enrolled in their BAS program for Business Management, with a strong focus in the Environmental Sciences.  I also have two grown daughters and three grandchildren that keep me young.   I like to volunteer my “spare” time with various organizations, currently with John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Girl Scouts of America, Community Earth Club and The Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer Island. I’ve always lived with a house full of pets and currently my fiance and I share our home with one dog, seven cats and one very large tortoise.

    Veterinary Technician

I am originally from Winder, GA. I have lived in Florida for 8 years now and love it. I have always loved and had a very huge heart for animals. I have two dogs and a bearded dragon of my own, but they are more like my children. If I am not spending time with them, taking my dogs to the beach or just relaxing at the house, I am at the hospital assisting the doctors with patients. I make sure every pet that comes in is well taken care of and receives lots of love! I am veterinary technician and I love my job!

    Kennel Technician

I am originally from Philadelphia and moved to Florida in 1988.  I was in corporate banking for over twenty years, but was laid off in 2007.  That same year, I began volunteering for a local cat rescue organization.  As a new volunteer, I took care of the cats, feeding them, cleaning their cages and dispensing medications as needed. I eventually became the group’s volunteer coordinator.  Currently, I am still involved as a member of their Board of Directors and I do still volunteer for them.

I began working for Promenade Animal Hospital in January 2013 as a kennel technician.  I assist the vet techs, give personal TLC to all the patients and keep the hospital and kennel areas clean.

I have always been an animal lover.  Currently, I have four rescued cats.

    Kennel Technician

I was born and raised in Florida.  I have lived in West Palm Beach for 35 years, where I raised both of my children.  I have always had a huge heart for animals.  Currently, I am also the proud “mother” of two dogs and two birds, who mean the world to me.  If I am not home taking care of my own pets, I am at Promenade Animal Hospital working as a kennel technician and caring for my second family away from home.

In my spare time, I love going to the beach and playing ball with my dogs.

    Veterinary Technician

I was originally born in Miami but was raised in Puerto Rico, returning to the US in 1999. My primary language is Spanglish.  I'm a woman of many skills.  I have achieved diplomas in wedding planning, veterinary assistant and master make up artistry.

When people ask me about myself I usually respond with "I'm an inactive Wedding Planning, random author (self-published 3 books) who loves picking up dog poop for a living while looking fabulous". I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor but only those close to me get to enjoy.  I have been working primarily as a veterinary technician since 2010 and have loved every minute of it. I strongly believe my calling in life has been to help animals. I currently spend my time with my dog "Snuggles", who looks very much like the character Falcor from the movie The Neverending Story as well as my geriatric rabbit "Trix".
